Internal Reporting Office
Whistleblowers make a very important contribution to uncovering and punishing misconduct. The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG), which came into force on July 2, 2023, serves to exclude disadvantages and provide legal certainty to whistleblowers. Thus, whistleblowers can be protected from professional and labor law reprisals. Jobcenter Lippe has therefore now established a corresponding Internal Reporting Office.
Whistleblower Protection Act
Important to know:
Reports should be substantiated suspicions that go beyond mere speculation. The reported violations must be related to professional activities, as the internal reporting office is not responsible for information about private misconduct. Without such a connection, the legal protection for whistleblowers does not apply. Reports are generally treated with strict confidentiality. The identity of a whistleblower is comprehensively protected, unless they intentionally or grossly negligently report incorrect information about violations. In such cases, malicious whistleblowers are even liable for damages.
Reporting Form
Report misconduct anonymously or with your contact details.
