Board of Directors and Advisory Board

The Jobcenter of the Lippe district is an authorized municipal provider (Optionskommune) according to § 6d of Social Code Book II. The 19 members of the Board of Directors are elected by the district council of Lippe. The chairman of the Board of Directors is the District Administrator of Lippe, Dr. Axel Lehmann.

The Board of Directors receives regular reports from the executive board of Jobcenter Lippe and monitors the management of the executive board. It reports to the district council on all significant matters of the Jobcenter, particularly regarding the fulfillment of the basic security for job seekers in the Lippe district.

The Advisory Board of Jobcenter Lippe includes key labor market policy actors from the Lippe district, who collectively set the course for future-oriented labor market policies.

The Advisory Board serves a consultative function and acts as a platform for exchanging expertise and experiences. The goal is to strategically incorporate the diverse competencies and perspectives of its members into the Jobcenter's work, thereby contributing to the development of sustainable and effective measures.
